Mayor Byron H. Nolen has been named a 2025 Michigan Chronicle Man of Honor, recognized for his leadership, dedication to public service, and commitment to moving Inkster forward. The honor highlights his work to create real, lasting change in the community—from supporting youth programs to improving city infrastructure. It’s a reflection of the progress happening in Inkster and the people behind it. The Michigan Chronicle, a long-standing voice in Detroit’s Black community, honors men who lead with impact and purpose across the state.
